(Chicago, IL) -- The Bears agreed to terms with former Detroit Lions defensive end Willie Young on a three-year deal. Young is guaranteed four of his nine-million-dollar contract. Young was drafted out of NC State by the Lions and last season turned in a three sack, 47 tackle season while recovering two fumbles. Domenik Hixon signed a one-year contract with the Bears to provide depth at the receiver position and compete for a special teams return position. Hixon enters his ninth season in the NFL with Chicago being his fourth team. Hixon caught only seven passes for 55 yards and a score last season in Carolina but had success with the Giants, catching 102 passes for more than 1,400 yards and six touchdowns in his five years there.
