Saffold Returning To Rams; Williams signs with Bills

Offensive tackle Rodger Saffold is reportedly heading back to St. Louis.  ESPN reports Saffold will sign a five-year contract with the Ramsfollowing a disagreement with his physical condition in Oakland.  The Raiders, who reportedly agreed to a five-year, 42.5-million-dollar contract with Saffold on Tuesday, are worried about his shoulder.  The Rams, however, have no concerns with his shoulder, according to the report.  The 25-year-old Saffold appeared in 12 games last season for the Rams, playing every position on the offensive line but center.  St. Louis selected the Indiana product in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

The Buffalo Bills are bolstering their offensive line with the addition of free agent Chris Williams.  He has agreed to a reported four-year deal worth 13.5-million-dollars, with 5.5-million guaranteed.  The 28-year-old started all 16 games for the St. Louis Rams last season and was part of a unit that allowed the eighth-fewest sacks in the NFL.  Williams was originally drafted by the Chicago Bears in 2008.
