innings and Kolten Wong belted a two-run homer in the St. Louis Cardinals' 6-4
Grapefruit League win over the New York Mets.
Both Wong and Stephen Piscotty finished with two hits for St. Louis, with
Piscotty scoring a pair of runs and driving in one.
Martinez held the Mets to just two hits and a walk while striking out three in
a sharp effort for the highly regarded prospect.
New York starter John Lannan also worked four innings, recording five
strikeouts but getting touched for a pair of unearned runs.
Juan Lagares produced the Mets' top offensive highlight, stroking a two-run
single in the seventh inning.
