Rams Lose Saffold On First Day Of Free Agency

(Oakland, CA)  --  The Oakland Raiders are adding tackle Rodger Saffold to their offensive line.  NFL.com reports the team has inked Saffold to a five-year, 42.5-million-dollar contract.  The 25-year-old appeared in 12 games last season for the Rams, playing every position on the offensive line but center.  St. Louis selected Saffold in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Indiana.  Saffold fills the void of tackle Jared Veldheer, who left to sign with Arizona.
