Taylorville School Board Approves Bass Fishing Club at High School

The Taylorville School Board approved a request to institute a Bass Fishing Club at the High School. Matt Morrison, who was on hand to make the request, tells the Board about the Club:

Morrison says the Club will be self-funded and will be of no cost to the District.

 

The Taylorville School Board recognized North Elementary Principal Brandi Bruley for being awarded the Horace Mann 2014-2015 Elementary School Principal of the Year. President Steve Milling congratulated her on the award:

The award is based on a member’s outstanding contributions to his or her students and learning community. Bruley is also eligible to compete for the National Distinguished Principal of the Year award.

 

The Taylorville School Board approved the District Master Calendar for the 2014-15 school year and approved their Illinois High School Association Membership. The Board also approved the Taylorville High School Early Dismissal Incentive. The Board approved to move the pre-school program that is currently at Memorial School to Central School and to move all 4th grade classes to Memorial.
