Goodyear, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Joe Wendle's two-out RBI single in the
bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday lifted the Cleveland Indians to a 5-4 win
over the Chicago White Sox for their fifth straight Cactus League victory.
The White Sox had tied the game on Alex Liddi's Solo homer in the eighth
inning. Conor Gillaspie also hit a solo homer for Chicago and starter Erik
Johnson struck out two in three innings, allowing one run on three hits and a
walk.
Zach McAllister threw two scoreless innings for the Indians, allowing one hit
and a walk with one strikeout.
