Taylorville City Council Approves Road Use Agreement with Enbridge Pipelines

The Taylorville City Council was presented with a resolution at their meeting Monday night in regards to a road use agreement with Enbridge Pipelines LLC. Alderman Earl Walters told the Council he had done some research on the topic:

The Council unanimously approved the agreement.

 

The Taylorville City Council was presented with a revised application for a special events permit. City Attorney Rocci Romano explains how the new application works:

The application will be voted on at the next Ordinance Committee meeting.

 

The Taylorville City Council heard an update on the Ahlstrom noise situation at their meeting Monday night. Mayor Greg Brotherton informed the Council with the latest update:

Alderman Larry Budd then provided the Council with more details:

Ahlstrom has not given a timetable for when the problem will be completely fixed.

 

The Taylorville City Council approved the Plan Commission recommendation in regards to the Upchurch Business Center Location Map and Minor Subdivision located at 1100 and 1102 North Cheney Street. The Council also approved the transfer of $50,000 from the General Fund to the Water Fund for the repayment of the Water Fund Loan. The Council will owe $370,000 on the Water Fund Loan after the transfer is complete.
