The Illinois State Police are reminding Central Illinois Residents that winter driving can be dangerous, not only because of snow, but also because of the brutally cold temperatures we've seen this year.  Safety Education Officer Trooper Emanuel Edwards says it's best to be prepared:

Trooper Edwards also recommends that, if you get stuck in cold weather, stay with your vehicle until help arrives.
