The money from the bonds will go towards a new irrigation system at Lakeshore Golf Course

Recreation Director Bailey Hancock told the Taylorville Park District Board at their meeting Monday night that the March of Dimes has contacted her about doing a 5k run at Manners Park. Hancock says normally she would just pass on the necessary forms but the organization wanted to do a different type of 5k run that she wanted to run by the board:

Board members had no objections to the 5k color run.

Representatives from the Red Bland Little League were at the meeting Monday night to ask the board if they had any problem with a plan to replace 4 scoreboards with digital ones. The Board says as long as Red Bland Little League is taking care of the cost, they have no problem with the plan.

The meeting adjourned at 7:39pm.
