22-year-old Clint Emery of Taylorville

A second armed robbery occurred in Taylorville on Sunday. Around 8:45pm, the Taylorville Police Department received a call of an armed robbery which had just occurred at 1209 East Poplar Street. The victim stated he was held at gun point as the two suspects took an undetermined amount of money from the victim.

The two suspects were identified as 22-year-old Clint Emery of Taylorville and 31-year-old Michael Wicker of Taylorville. As the investigation progressed, Emery was taken into custody without incident and charged with armed robbery. Emery was lodged in the Christian County Correctional Center.

The investigation is ongoing and the Taylorville Police Department is asking that anyone with information concerning this incident or the location of Michael Wicker to contact them at 824-2211 or Christian County Crime Stoppers at 824-9100. Wicker is considered to be armed and dangerous.

It is still uncertain if this incident is related to the armed robbery which occurred Thursday at Route Mart in Taylorville.
