Over 300 Attend Taylorville Kiwanis Pancake and Sausage Day

(Taylorville)—Over 300 people attended Saturday’s Taylorville Kiwanis Pancake and Sausage Day at a new location this year, the Taylorville Moose Lodge.

Kiwanis members, along with Taylorville High School Key Club and Junior High Builders Club members, volunteered to cook and serve all the pancakes and sausage you wanted to eat.

Proceeds from the event will continue to support local Kiwanis projects for children and youth, such as Kiwanis Park, Coats for Kids, high school scholarships, YMCA teams, and Baby Talk.

The Kiwanis Club thanks the public for their turnout at Saturday’s annual Pancake and Sausage Day.

The Taylorville Kiwanis Club is part of global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Weekly meetings are held Tuesdays at noon at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital auditorium. For information on the club, go to taylorvillekiwanis.com.
