(St. Louis, MO) -- Cardinals outfielder Matt Holiday is offering an olive branch to new teammate Jhonny Peralta. A staunch critic of players with ties to performance-enhancing drugs, Holiday says he is willing to forgive the 31-year-old shortstop. Holiday said at the Cardinals' Winter Warm-Up this week that he is against PEDs and always will be, but Peralta served his suspension under the rules and he's happy to now have him as a teammate. Peralta was given a 50-game ban last season while with the Detroit Tigers as part of the Biogenesis clinic scandal. Peralta signed a four-year, 53-million-dollar contract with St. Louis this offseason.
