THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Constance A. Sherman, 19, of 717 East Poplar Street, Taylorville, was arrested January 7 on a bond forfeiture for failure to appear/answer.

INCIDENTS:
On January 7, Christian County Deputies along with Taylorville Fire, Owaneco Fire, and Morrisonville-Palmer Fire responded to a structure fire at 917 North 965 East Road (The Jeff Powers Residence). The house was fully engulfed in flames upon the deputies arrival. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

THE TAYLORVILLEE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On January 7 at 10:59am, Taylorville Police Department officers were dispatched to 717 East Poplar reference a domestic. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Constance A. Sherman, 19, of Taylorville was wanted on a warrant out of Kentucky. Sherman was placed under arrest and transported to the Christian County Sheriff's Office.

On January 7 at 8:17am, a Taylorville Police Department officer responded to a traffic crash in the area of the 300 block of Springfield Road. It was determined that James M. Steffers, 38, of Taylorville, who was involved in the crash, had a suspended driver's license. Two citations were issued.
