The Taylorville Park District Board held a public hearing at their Monday meeting in regards to the issuance of $850,000 general obligation limited park bonds. The Board received no letters and no one was in attendance in regards to the matter so the conducting of the public hearing was quickly approved. David Pistorius told the Board what the next step is:
The Park Board will vote to adopt the bond ordinance at the January meeting.
The Taylorville Park Board also heard an update on how Christmas in the Park went this year at their Monday meeting. Recreation Director Bailey Hancock said they had great turnouts at the events:
The lights at Christmas in the Park at Manners Park will be lit one more time on Christmas from 5-10 pm.
The meeting adjourned at 3:38pm.
