(Chicago, IL) -- The Cubs have added some bullpen depth. ESPNDeportes.com reports Chicago and right-hander Jose Veras have agreed on a one-year, four-million-dollar deal. The contract includes a 5.5-million-dollar option for 2015 and incentives. The 33-year-old started last season as the Astros closer before being dealt to the Tigers in July. Veras went 0-and-5 with a 3.02 ERA, while posting a career-high 21 saves in 67 games between Houston and Detroit last season.
