Ceci's first NHL goal lifts Senators past Blues in overtime

Ottawa,  ON (SportsNetwork.com)  - Cody Ceci scored 3:59 into overtime to lift 
the Ottawa Senators over the St. Louis Blues, 3-2. 

It was Ceci's first NHL goal. 

Bobby  Ryan and  Jean-Gabriel Pageau also lit the lamp for the Senators. Robin 
Lehner stopped 30-of-32 shots. 

Chris  Stewart had a pair of goals for the Blues, who had a three-game winning 
streak snapped. Brian Elliott made 29 saves against his former team. 

Ryan  tied the  game at two at the  5:44 mark of the third period. Kyle Turris 
controlled  the puck at the left point before sending a pass to Ryan, who beat 
Elliott with a backhander. 

Ceci,  playing in his  third NHL game, beat Elliott with a shot from the right 
point to give Ottawa the win in overtime. 

Pageau gave the Senators a 1-0 lead at the 3:57 mark of the first period. Ryan 
gathered the puck behind the net and found Pageau in front. 

Stewart  scored goals 2:57 apart late in the middle stanza to give the Blues a 
2-1 margin. 

Stewart  lit the  lamp on  a breakaway  at 16:50.  He scored  off a  pass from 
Derek Roy with 11.5 seconds left.

Blues  captain  David Backes  left the  game during the  second period with an 
upper-body  injury and  did not  return  ... Senators  defenseman Jared  Cowen 
returned  after  serving a  two-game suspension ...  St. Louis center Vladimir 
Sobotka (upper body) missed the game.
