(St. Louis, MO)  --  Free agent second baseman Mark Ellis has agreed to terms with the St. Louis Cardinals.  ESPN reports the 11-year veteran will receive a one-year contract from the Cards.  Ellis batted .264 over the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers.  At 36 years old, Ellis figures to serve as a utility infielder while rookie Kolten Wong takes over as the regular second baseman.
