Severe weather hit the Regional Radio listening area late Sunday morning into Sunday afternoon, causing some damage and widespread power outages.
At the height of the storms, the area had no less than 5 tornado warnings issued as the line moved quickly northeast thru the area.
As of one o’clock Sunday afternoon, Ameren Illinois reported some 90-thousand customers were without power, including some 26-hundred 43-customers in Christian County and almost 34-hundred in Montgomery County.
Damage was reported in the Dollville area north of Tower Hill, with a grain bin moved off its foundation, and several buildings also sustaining damage.
No injuries have been reported as a result of Sunday’s severe weather that rumbled thru the Regional Radio listening area.
