The Hillsboro branch of Taylorville Community Credit Union received a ‘Makeover Award’ from the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce in recognition of the credit union’s recent purchase and remodeling of the building at 138 E. Wood Street in Hillsboro.
The award, presented September 26th at the Hillsboro Chamber’s annual Business and Industry Awards banquet, is one of only three such awards presented this year. According to a news release from the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, the Makeover Award “recognizes those businesses that enhance their properties in such a way as to add to the aesthetic appeal of the community, thereby increasing pride in the community.”
Taylorville Community Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution that has served the needs of its members since 1956.
