THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARREST:
Nicole M. Conaway, 22, of 1218 West Pauline, Taylorville, was arrested October 23 for driving with a suspended license.
THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARREST:
On October 23 at 11:10pm, Taylorville Police Department officers were out at 204 North Main Street in reference to juveniles out after curfew. Following investigation, James E. Fishburn, 22, of Taylorville, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Fishburn was transported to Taylorville Police Department, processed, and released with a notice to appear.
THE PANA POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:
On October 21, following an incident at the Walmart in Pana, Tina M. Mitchell, 51, of Springfield was arrested and charged with retail theft. Mitchell was given a notice to appear in court and released.
On October 22, following an incident at 510 North Poplar Street, Pana, Stacey E. Worker, 39, of Tower Hill, was arrested for striking complainant with an officer present. Worker was also arrested for illegal possession of drug paraphernalia. Worker was given a notice to appear and released. Information being forwarded to the State's Attorney for possible additional charges regarding the incident.
On October 22, Eric J. Merritt, 18, of Pana was arrested for a Christian County warrant for failure to appear for domestic battery and a Illinois Department of Corrections warrant for parole violation. Merritt was transported to Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.
On October 23, Amber M. Brown, 28, of Mowequa was traveling westbound on Main Street when she struck Justin M. Woodrum, 30, of Blue Mound who was traveling southbound on Poplar Street. Both vehicles had major damage. Brown was cited for failure to yield at a stop intersection. Brown and Woodrum were both transported to Pana Community Hospital for treatment of injuries.
