Christian County Economic Development Holds Annual Board Meeting

The Christian County Economic Development Corporation board of directors held their annual meeting and luncheon Friday morning at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Auditorium, to review current economic development efforts in Christian County.

Economic Development executive director Mary Renner shared with Regional Radio News after the meeting, that Christian County is continuing to see increased interest from both retail and industrial business locators.

Renner says continued interest from prospective retailers, is a good sign for continued economic development in Christian County.

Some 30 board members attended the annual meeting, and almost 100 attended the luncheon afterwards that featured Jack Schultz and former Taylorville native Craig Lindvahl both talk about how to keep the Millenials as entrepreneurs in Christian County.
