U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) today announced that he has been selected to serve on the House-Senate Conference Committee tasked with resolving differences between the House and Senate-passed Farm Bills. The House passed, by voice vote, a motion to go to conference with the Senate on Friday.

Rep. Davis is the only freshman member of the House to be selected to serve on the committee and is the first representative from this area to serve on a Farm Bill conference committee since Rep. Tom Ewing in 1996.
