Taylorville police are investigating a burglary at Kentucky Fried Chicken. On Friday at approximately 4:19am, Taylorville Police Department officers responded to a report of a burglary at the KFC on 510 North Webster in Taylorville. Officers arrived and found that unknown subject or subjects had forced entry into the building. While inside, the unknown subject or subjects broke into a safe, took an unknown amount of money, and fled the scene prior to police arrival. A back door was damaged during entry and the total dollar amount of the damage is unknown at this time.
