Area Arrests/Accidents/Incidents 9-16-13

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Shane A. Drum, 33, of 2350 East 600 North, Pana, was arrested September 15 for domestic battery.

Ronald E. Middleton, 53, of 26 North Drive, Decatur, was arrested September 15 on a bond forfeiture for battery.

James D. Skinner, 40, of 200 Vandeveer Street, Morrisonville, was arrested September 15 on a bond forfeiture for theft/unauthorized control of property. (720 5/16-1-a-1)

Logan M. Casson, 28, of 954 Sheffield Lane, Jacksonville, was arrested September 14 on a bond forfeiture for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tiara N. Shull, 18, of 921 West Adams Street, Taylorville, was arrested September 13 for consumption of liquor by a minor.

 

THE PANA POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

On September 13, a 16-year-old male from Tower Hill was issued a citation for speeding 49 MPH in a 30 MPH zone.

On September 13, Kirk F. Woods of Pana reported the theft of his 1997 Ford truck at 1 South Poplar. The keys were left in it. The vehicle was recovered on September 14 in Taylorville. A crime scene technician will be requested to process the vehicle for fingerprints.

After a traffic stop on September 14 at Route 16, Quentin M. Lewis, 31, of Decatur was issued a citation for speeding 62 MPH in a 45 MPH zone.

After an incident at 507 South Clark on September 14, Brandon R. Kraug of Moweaqua signed a temporary complaint against Noah D. Taylor, 29, of Pana. Information to be forwarded to the S/A office for consideration of charges.

On September 14, Jarad Challans of Pana, reported unknown subject(s) gained entry to his residence at 708 Kitchell and took a "Tap Out" duffle bag, several DVDs and CDs, and prescription medications. Case is under investigation.

On September 14, Daniel J. Sliger, 23, of Pana was issued a citation for loud muffler/excessive noise.

On September 15, Nicholas S. Hurlburt, 25, of Pana was issued a citation for illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger.

ACCIDENTS:
On September 14, Kyle S. Robertson, 24, of Fillmore, left a vehicle unoccupied in the laundry mat parking lot. The vehicle traveled north unoccupied across 2nd Street and struck the front porch of 310 West 2nd Street. Prior to crossing 2nd Street, the vehicle struck the street sign pole with the passenger side mirror.
