Taylorville School District Announces Registration

Taylorville Community Unit Schools has announced the details for the 2013-14 school registration.

Families of returning students may begin the online registration process on August 1.  The primary guardian should log in to the district’s Skyward Family Access page at http://www.taylorvilleschools.com.  Parents or guardians needing a log-in ID and password may call their school to obtain this information.  Parents without computers may go to the school’s computer lab during registration hours, and the process may be completed there.  Assistance will be available for those with no computer experience.  There will be no paper registration for returning students.

Health, dental, and vision exam forms and elementary and junior high supply lists are available on the district website at http://www.taylorvilleschools.com on the registration page.

To finish registration, parents will need to go to their children’s schools to submit any pages printed during the online registration process.  At that time, parents will be given free and reduced meal and textbook rental/fee waiver program information, and a brochure regarding the free student accident insurance program.  Elementary and junior high families will receive a discipline code handbook.  Families should be prepared to show two forms of proof of address, such as a driver’s license, utility bill, mortgage or lease document, or bank statement.

Parents may utilize the district’s online Web Store for payment of textbook rental, fees, and optional purchases by MasterCard or Visa.  The Web Store will open Monday, August 1 at http://taylorvilleschools.revtrak.net.  Payments for textbook rental, a variety of student fees, and foodservice for all students in the family can be made at the same time.  A nominal convenience fee will be added at the end of the transaction.  Parents are asked to bring a printed receipt to final registration so payment can be verified.  RevTrak is a secure, user-friendly website with an easy to understand Frequently Asked Questions page to assist with the payment process.  Families also have the option to pay by cash or check at their school
