THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Misty D. Clay, 34 of 1201 South Street Taylorville was arrested July 9 on a bond forfeiture for battery.

Clifford E. Ballion, 48, of 1148 East 2100 North Road, Edinburg, was arrested July 9 for driving on a suspended/revoked license and reckless driving.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTES:

On July 9, a Taylorville Police Department officer stopped a vehicle in Casey's Store parking lot on 902 East Park for traffic violations. After further investigation, Sharon K. Torres, 58, of Taylorville was arrested for driving while license suspended and driving under the influence of alcohol. Torres was transported to Taylorville Police Department, processed and released on $300 cash bond.

On July 9th at 9:21pm, Taylorville Police Department officers were out at an accident at Cheney and Spresser. During the course of the investigation, Misty D. Clay, 34, of Taylorville, who was involved in the crash, had a valid Christian County warrant. The warrant was confirmed through the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System and Clay was arrested and transported to Christian County Correctional Center.
