Shelby County made a decision to allow its residents to carry a concealed firearm if they have a valid FOID card. Shelby County State’s Attorney Gina Vonderheide tells Regional Radio News it was time to make this decision:

This concealed carry decision only applies to Shelby County and if you are planning to carry a concealed weapon outside of Shelby County, you need check with officials from that area before leaving to find out their enforcement on it.
