Area Arrests/Accidents 6-20-13

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

INCIDENTS:

On June 19, Mary E. Kresin, 56, of Pana, contacted the Christian County Sheriff's Office to report unknown subject(s) forcibly entered a machine shed and removed several items including a Dee Zee 48" black chest toolbox, a new bright orange chain with black chain and ratchet pull lever, and a 20 foot Heavy Duty Log chain. The machine shed is located on their property at 692 North 2500 East Road. The incident occurred sometime between 10pm on June 18 and 7:00am on June 19.

On June 13, Matthew A. Green, 53, of Springfield, contacted the Christian County Sheriff's Office to report unknown subject(s) attempted to enter his machine shed, located at 538 East 1500 North Road. No entry was gained but the subject(s) damaged the metal entry door and door knob to the shed. The incident occurred sometime between 5:00pm on June 12 and 1:00pm on June 13.

 

ACCIDENTS:

On June 19, Jared P. Lebon, of Pana was northbound on US-51 just north of Township Road 1300 North Road. Lebon stated that a deer ran into the roadway and he was unable to avoid striking the deer.

 

ARRESTS:

Amy O. Watring, 31, of 257 West Center Street, Mt. Auburn, was arrested June 19 for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Jonathon J. Burgener, 27, of 1677 North Church Street, Decatur, was arrested June 20 for burglary.

Marciano Williams, 22, of South 11th Street, Springfield, was arrested on June 20 for possession control

Michael P. Forbes, 32, of RR1 Box 347, Ramsey, was arrested on June 19 for revoked/suspended license.

Justin M. Durbin, 21, of 514 West First Street, Taylorville, was arrested on June 18 for other amounts of narcotics.

Virgilio Antele-Chagal, 37, of 16 South Poplar, Pana, was arrested on June 18 for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Robert R. Snyder, 58, of 412 Northern Avenue, Taylorville was arrested on June 18 for driving with revoked license.
