THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Todd J. Brokens, 35, of 803 West Main Cross Apartment 3B, Taylorville, was arrested on June 13 on an original arrest warrant for resisting a peace officer.

James J. Weinart, 35, of 612 East Stevenson Street, Taylorville, was arrested on June 13 on a original arrest warrant for aggravated domestic battery.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On June 13 at 5:13pm, a Taylorville Police Department officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a retail theft. Subsequent to investigation, Cale R. Sexton, 30, of Taylorville, was arrested for retail theft.

On June 13 at 3:42pm, a Taylorville Police Department officer went to #1 Hillcrest Trailor Court and made contact with Todd J. Brookens. 35, of Taylorville who the officer knew to have a valid warrant out of Christian County. The officer ran Brookens' information through Law Enforcement Agencies Data System and verified the warrant. The officer placed Brookens under arrest and transported him to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.
