THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Gary A. Lyerla, 45, of 59 Hannon Trailer Ct., Taylorville, was arrested June 11th for failure to appear.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On June 10th at approximately 1:37 am, a Taylorville Police Department officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. After a brief investigation, Christopher M. Crow, 28, of Taylorivlle was arrested for driving while license was suspended.

On June 11th, a Taylorville Police Department officer made a traffic stop at Webster and Bidwell. The officer ran the drivers information through Taylorville dispatch. Taylorville dispatch advised Steven C. Smith, 38, of Atlanta, Illinois, has a revoked drivers license. The officer placed Smith under arrest and transported him to Taylorville Police Department where he was processed and released on a notice to appear.

On June 11, a Tatlorville Police Department officer observed Gary A. Lyerla, 45, of Taylorville. The officer knew Lyerla to have a valid Christian County failure to appear warrant. Dispatch verified the warrant through the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System. Lyerla was placed under arrest and transported to Christian County Corrections Center.
