All types of military personnel are a primary target for some major frauds. High priced military loans and misleading car sales are amongst the top but Public Advocate Mac MacGwire tells Regional Radio News there are other major frauds out there:

There is also an expensive life insurance policies scam which put military personnel into a high presser sales pitch that trap them into unnecessary and expensive life insurance policies. MacGwire says the best thing to do is to call the Veteran’s Administration for information and check the Better Business Bureau’s website, www.bbb.org/us/military/resources, for guides that cover important information, advice, and contacts.
