THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:
ACCIDENTS:
On June 8, Anna F. Williams, 63, of Tower Hill was traveling southbound on Illinois Route 51, Williams stated she got off the road to avoid an oncoming vehicle, traveling northbound, that was passing a vehicle in the northbound lane. Willians went off the road then lost control causing the vehicle to turn north. Williams went off the roadway again and struck a guardrail with the passenger side of the vehicle. There is damage to the entire passenger side. No injuries were reported.
Hannah R. Jones, 23, of Rochester was traveling northbound on Illinois Route 29 approximately 1/2 mile south of 1900 N Rd. when a deer ran into the side of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Bradley Martin, 24,of 105 South West Street, Stonington was arrested on June 8 for assault.
Delaney S. Dilley, 21, of 205 East 5th Street, Pana was arrested on June 8 for domestic battery and unlawful use of weapon
Terra L. Kraus, 25, of 703 East South 10th Street, Shelbyville was arrested on June 8 for failure to notify
Aaron W. Rule, 37, of 713 East 2675 North Road, Mechanicsburg was arrested on June 8 for domestic battery and criminal damage to property
Dakoda B. Shanks, 19, of 10 Fairview Trail Ct., Taylorville was arrested on June 8 for theft of a motor vehicle
Frank K. Sedlock, 27, of 302 S. Main Street, Stonington was arrested on June 9 for driving on a suspended/revoked license
Brent A. Getz, 21, of 2 N John St., Taylorville was arrested on June 8 for failure to appear
Steven E. Potts, 62, of 630 E. Adams Street, Taylorville was arrested pn June 8 for manufacturing and delivery of cannabis and defacing ID marks
Nathan P. Allen, 33, of 630 E Adams St., Taylorville was arrested on June 8 for manufacturing and delivery of cannabis
Jason C. Krouse, 33, of 315 N Long Street, was arrested June 9 for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession control
THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
On June 6, a Taylorville Police Department officer was advised of a female subject driving without a license. The officer located the suspect vehicle and the 15-year old female. She was placed under arrest and transported to Taylorville Police Department, processed and released to her mother.
On June 8, Taylorville Police Department Officers were sent to a fight on West Adams near Cheney Street. Upon arrival, the officers spoke with several subjects in the area. The subjects stated the fight was over 2 male subjects that had left the area. One of the male subjects was located at 1301 West Adams. The juvenile male was arrested for illegal consumption and released to his mother.
