Erika Harold announced plans to launch a Republican primary challenge to Illinois Representative Rodney Davis in a video message Tuesday. A Harvard Law School graduate. Harold cited her reign as Miss America in 2003 and her work as an attorney as some of the "incredible opportunities" she's had in her life. Harold is the second former Miss America to be considering a run for Congress. Miss America 2000, Heather French Henry, is reportedly weighing the possibility of joining the U.S. Senate race on Kentucky as a Democratic candidate.
