6th grader Grace Blakley who attends VisionWay Christian School in Taylorville, received a special recognition award at a school wide assembly. Blakley was notified that she was a Semi-Finalist in the national writing contest Letters About Literature, a national writing contest. Blakley was choosen amongst 50,000 entries. Blakley wrote an essay/letter explaining how the book “Little Women” has impacted her life to Louisa May Alcott . Blakley was awarded a certificate and medal.
