Miller Media Group President Randal J. Miller Celebrating 40 Years in Radio June 1

(Taylorville)—Miller Media Group president Randal J. Miller will celebrate his 40th anniversary in the radio business, with a 5-hour program featuring his family and many of his mentors that have helped him in his 40 year career. The show will air Saturday, June First, from noon to 5pm on the 3 Central Illinois Miller Media Group newstalk radio stations—WTIM Newstalk 97.3 in Taylorville, WHOW THE BIG 1520 AM and 92.3 FM in Clinton, and WRJM newstalk 1270 AM and 107 FM in Charleston.

The show will also have a live video and audio stream, both at a special web site, RJM40-dot-com. The web site features many pictures of Miller’s 40 years in the radio business.

Miller, a Shelbyville native, graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1973, and obtained his first job at the former WSHY AM and FM in Shelbyville on June 2, 1973. Miller earned an associate degree in applied science, with a radio broadcasting major, from Lake Land College, in 1975.

Miller owns and operates eleven radio signals covering Taylorville, Pana, Shelbyville, Kewanee, Galva, Geneseo, the Quad Cities, Clinton, and Charleston. He and his family live in Taylorville, where they have resided the past 19 years.
