Taylorville will soon be one of the very few high tech cities in the nation offering increased internet speeds. Computer Techniques will begin construction next month on a project designed to bring fiber optic internet technology to Taylorville. Co-owner of CTI Billy Williams says there is a big difference between Copper wire technology and fiber optics.

The work, which begins next month, will take about 2 and a half years to complete.
