THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

ARRESTS:

Robert J. Christer, 31, of 16 Springside Avenue, Pana was arrested on May 20 for being an escaped felon.

Daniel S. Brest, 38, of 222 Elm, Kincaid was arrested on May 19 for domestic battery.

ACCIDENTS:

On May 20th at 11:24pm, Teresa M. Anderson, 26, of Stonington was westbound on County Highway 4 and reportedly did no observe Lindsay M. Sinnard. 24. of Assumption stopped in the roadway also westbound. Anderson allegedly swerved to miss Sinnard but still collided with Sinnard. Anderson had passenger side damage and Sinnard had damage to driver's side mirror and driver's side front quarter panel and headlight. No injuries were reported.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ACCIDENTS:

On May 18 at 1:36pm, Moody L. Myers, 70, of Taylorville was stopped at the intersection of Elm and Cheney and reportedly did not see McKinsey K. Crosby, 20, of Taylorville. Myers allegedly struck Crosby knocking her off her scooter. Crosby was transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital by Taylorville Fire Department. Crosby was also reportedly issued two citations: operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid registration.
