The Taylorville Fire Department hosted a Mock Disaster titled "Taylorville Tornado" on Tuesday.

Taylorville Fire Chief, Mike Crews, says this type of event is done about every two to three years:

Representatives from several local and area agencies were on hand.

Crews says there are a lot of talented individuals in Christian County that are well trained, and ready if there is an actual disaster.
