THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S

DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Antonio Haynes, 31, of Springfield was arrested on May 3 for possession of a liik alike substance and obstrucking justice.

Jacoby Woodlan, 27, of Decatur was arrested ohn May 3 for possession of cannabis.

Derek Mathias, 23, of Blue Mound was arrested on May 3 for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Sean M. Mills, 21, of Springfield was arrested on May 4 for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Dustin Miller, 29, of Mt. Pulaski was arested on a bond forfeiture warrant for possission manufacturing <15 grams of methanphetamine. 

TRAFFIC:

On May 4, a Christian County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Main Street in Bulpitt for a two vehicle accident.  Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Cory Blake, 18, of Kincaid.  Blake stated he was north bound on Main Street and made a left hand turn west onto Edwards Street.  Blake said he did not see Seth Haflinger, 17, of Kincaid until he struck him.  Haflinger stated he way sitting at the stop sign on Edward Street facing east.  Haflinger stayed Blake came around the corner and turned too sharrp.  No injuries were reported.  

John Castle, 59, of Pana was traveling northbound on Cty. Hwy. #22 in his 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, and he said he decided to turn around and backed into a driveway at approximately 3100 North County Highway #22.  Douglass Dean, 42, of Buffalo, IL was parked in the driveway in his 2011 Chevy Silverado.  Castle began pulling out of the driveway turning south when the trailer he was hauling struck the left side of Dean.  Castle's trailer received no damage.  Dean receive damage to the left bedside and rear bumper.  No injuries were reported. 

INCIDENT:

On May 4, Christian County Sheriff's Office responded to 2157 East 1880 North for several semi trucks that had been on fire.  The complainant called at approximately 7:30 a.m. and stated several trucks had been on fire overnight.  Six semi trucks with attached grain trailers had been on fire.  All six trucks were a total loss due to the fire.  At the time of the report, it was estimated that three trailersreceived damage caused by the fire.  The vehicles belonged to Doug Downs trucking.
