Senior Communications Executive, Leigh Morris, tells Regional Radio some Kincaid and Edinburg residents were with out power Wednesday evening.

The outages started around 8:42 p.m. Morris says. The cause was a cross arm broke which resulted in 2,081 Ameren Illinois resident in the Kincaid and Edinburg to be with out power.

Power was restored at approximately 10:50 p.m. Wednesday evening.

There was also an equipment problem in the Macon and Blue Mound area last evening that caused power outages. Two-thousand customers were without power from approximately 11:00 p.m. - 11:45 p.m.

Morris says all power in these areas has been restored.
