THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Jessica S. Wehner, 19, was arrested pm April 30 for Driving Under the Influence, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jeffrey A. Burdzilauskas, 26, was arrested on an original arrest warrant for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

TRAFFIC:  Douglas Merriman, 37, of Decatur, was westbound on County Highway #4 just west of Moweaqua.  Christopher Westbrook, 30, of Moweaqua was also westbound on County Highway #4 behind Merriman.  Merriman advised he activated the vehicles left turn signal, applied the brakes and began to make a left turn into a private drive.  Westbrook advised he did not see the rear lights on Merriamn and began to overtake him.  Westbrook struck the left rear of Merriman.  Christopher Westbrook was thrown from the motorcycle and was transported from the scene by Moweaqua Ambulance
