We see it on a regular basis: bartenders and shop clerks busted for selling booze to minors.  The Taylorville Police Department will be hosting two Basset Classes next month.  The classes are designed to teach retailers how to deal with the problem.  The classes are mandatory for sellers and servers of alcohol in the City of Taylorville

The first class will be April 10th at 1pm, while the second class will be the following day, April 11th at 9am.  Both classes will be held on the lower level of the Municipal Building.  There is no need to preregister, you can just show up.

These will be the last opportunities to take the classes for free.  Additional classes will take place this summer, but attendees will have to pay a fee.
