The Taylorville Energy Center is still very much alive, although in the new clean coal form. Bart Ford Vice President of Development for Tenaska explained a new Taylorville Energy Center bill that will be brought to the State House.

Ford believes that some turnover in the legislature could help the chances of the Tenaska Project.

House Bill 103 was introduced on January 10th and then sent to the rules committee by Representative Robert Rita of Blue Island.
