>>Musial Memorial Dates Set

(St. Louis, MO)  --  The St. Louis Cardinals will hold a public visitation for the late Stan Musial Thursday from 2
to 8 p.m. local time at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis.  There is a funeral
service on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral procession to Bush
Stadium.  Musial, a Cards and baseball legend, died this past Saturday at the
age of 92.

>>Blues Upend Predators In Shootout

(Nashville, TN)  --  T.J. Oshie [[ OH-shee ]] and Alex Steen each scored in the shootout to send the Blues
to a 4-3 victory over the Predators.  Vladimir Tarasenko had a goal and two
assists in regulation for St. Louis while Andy McDonald added a goal and an
assist of his own.  Alex Pietrangelo [[ pih-TRAN-jell-oh ]] also scored for the
Blues, who moved to 2-and-0.  St. Louis is back in action tonight against the
Blackhawks in Chicago.

>>Illini Back In Action Tomorrow

(Lincoln, NE)  --  Illinois looks to snap its three-game slide tonight in Lincoln against the Nebraska
Cornhuskers.  Illinois started the year with 12 straight wins but is now
14-and-5 with a 1-and-4 record in Big Ten play.  Nebraska is 1-and-5 with a
10-and-9 overall mark.

>>Missouri, Illinois With Senior Bowl Players

(Mobile, AL)  --  Three former college stars from Missouri and Illinois are getting set for the
Senior Bowl on Saturday.  It's the NFL's premier annual showcase of college
talent.  Tigers linebacker Zaviar Gooden will play for the South.  Offensive
lineman Hugh Thornton and defensive lineman Michael Buchanan from the Fighting
Illini are on the North roster.
