>>Stan Musial Dies At 92

(St. Louis, MO)  --  Cardinals Hall of Famer Stan Musial died on Saturday at the age of 92.  Musial's health had been in decline over the last few years.  Stan "The Man" played all 22 seasons of his
illustrious career with the Cardinals and was named MVP three times.  He hit
.331 with 475 home runs and nearly two-thousand RBI in his career.  Musial was
elected to the Hall of Fame in 1969.

>>Cards Agree With Boggs, Mujica

(St. Louis, MO)  --  The Cardinals announced Friday contract agreements with relief pitchers Mitchell
Boggs and Edward Mujica.  Each agreed to a one-year deal, avoiding arbitration. 
Closer Jason Motte, third baseman David Freese and reliever Marc Rzepczynski [[
zep-CHIN-skee ]] all filed for arbitration.

>>Blues Face Preds Tonight

(Nashville, TN)  --  Coming off Saturday's season-opening shutout win at home over Detroit, the Blues are in
Nashville tonight to skate with the Predators.  Chris Stewart and Vladimir
Tarasenko each scored two goals while Jaroslav Halak made 14 saves in the win. 
St. Louis is also on the road tomorrow night to play Chicago before returning
home to battle the Preds on Thursday.

>>Bears Make Coaching Moves

(Lake Forest, IL)  --  The Bears announced Saturday that defensive backs coach Jon Hoke and defensive line coach Mike Phair will return next season under new head coach Marc Trestman.  Chicago
also announced that assistant defensive backs coach Gill Byrd won't be back. 
Additionally, director of physical development Rusty Jones announced he is
retiring after 28 years in the NFL.

>>Notre Dame's Te'o Gives Off-Camera Interview

(Bradenton, FL)  --  Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o [[ MAN-tye  TAY-oh ]] gave his first interview on Friday since last week's shocking news about the hoax of his girlfriend dying during this past season. 
ESPN's Jeremy Schaap conducted the off-camera interview in Bradenton, Florida. 
Te'o denied being a part of the hoax and added that he was never sure that
"Lennay Kekua" didn't exist until last Wednesday.
