(Champaign, IL)  -- Illinois continues Big Ten play tonight with a big home game against 10th-ranked Minnesota.  The 13th-ranked Fighting Illini have started the conference season 1-and-1 and are
14-and-2 overall thus far.  The Golden Gophers sit at 2-and-0 on the Big Ten and

>>Bears To Interview Singletary, Priefer For Coaching Job

(Undated)  --  The Bears have added a pair of Vikings coaches to the list of those who will be interviewed for the head coaching vacancy.  According to Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier, Mike Singletary and Mike Priefer will both get a shot at the job.  The Bears also reportedly interviewed their own special
teams coach, Dave Toub, for the job this week.  Chicago also has permission to
interview Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison and Seahawks offensive
coordinator Darrell Bevell.

>>Bulls' Rose Starts Contact Practices

(Deerfield, IL)  --  Bulls guard Derrick Rose has begun to take contact in practices during his rehab from
a torn ACL.  Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau says the next step for Rose would be
to fully participate in a regular practice.  Rose tore his ACL on April 28th in
Chicago's first game of the playoffs against the 76ers.  He had surgery on May

(Chicago, IL) -- The Bulls welcome the Milwaukee Bucks to United Center this evening. Chicago has won three straight to move to 19-and-13 on the year. Milwaukee and head coach Scott Skiles agreed to part ways on Monday night. The Bucks won at home against the Suns last night in their first game under assistant Jim Boylan, who took over for Skiles.

>>Sosa To Learn HoF Fate Today

(Undated)  --  Former Chicago Cubs great Sammy Sosa will learn his Hall of Fame fate today.  The 2013 class will be announced at 1 p.m. local time on MLB Network.  Sosa, along with other eligible
players like Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens, have been clouded by accusations of
steroid use during their careers.  Sosa also spent time with the White Sox as
well as the Rangers and Orioles in his career.
