The 113th US Congress will be sworn in on Thursday, and for the first time a Taylorville native will be a member Congress.
Congressman Elect Rodney Davis says that one of his goals as a Congressman will be to stop the out of control spending in Washington.

Davis says that he would like to make a change for people who are on unemployment and also going to school when he gets to Washington.

The previous 112th Congress had some of the lowest poll numbers since Reconstruction at 10% according to The Washington Post.
