Yet another scam is being talked about. Apparently, someone claiming to be from the credit union is calling area residents and asking for their credit card numbers.

Local Senior Citizens Advocate Mac McGwire says there is an easy way to handle such a call.

You should never give out credit card information or bank account numbers to callers. If you receive a call you find suspicious, contact the police.
