>>Illinois Crushes USC

(Lahaini, HI)  --  Brandon Paul scored 26 points as Illinois smoked USC, 94-64, to move to the semifinals in the Maui Invitational.  The Fighting Illini outscored the Trojans 57-26 in the first half
as they moved to 4-and-0.  Illinois takes on Chaminade in the semifinals tonight
and will play either Butler or North Carolina tomorrow.

>>Niners Suffocate Bears In Victory

(San Francisco, CA)  --  The 49ers used a devastating defense to hold down the Bears in a 32-7 win.  Jason
Campbell threw for just 107 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.  Matt
Forte [[ FOR-tay ]] managed just 63 yards on 21 carries for Chicago, which fell
to 7-and-3.  Brandon Marshall caught the lone touchdown for the Bears.  The
Bears return home to host the Vikings on Sunday.

>>Ditka Recovering After Stroke

(Undated)  --  Former Bears head coach Mike Ditka is recovering after suffering a minor stroke on Friday.  Ditka appeared via satelitte in his regular role last night as an analyst for ESPN's "Monday
Night Football" prior to the Bears game at San Francisco.  The 73-year-old says
he's feeling much better.

>>Maryland Bolting ACC For Big Ten

(College Park, MD)  --  Maryland is leaving the ACC to join the Big Ten.  The university made the
announcement yesterday.  Rutgers is expected to follow the Terrapins to the Big
Ten and leave the Big East.  Maryland's arrival gives the Big Ten 13 member
schools.  The Terps tenure in the Big Ten will start July 1st, 2014.

>>Billikens Dominate Aggies

(Kansas City, MO)  --  Dwayne Evans posted 21 points to lead Saint Louis to a 70-49 stomping of Texas A&M in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic.  The win moved the Billikens to 2-and-1.  They take on
number-11 Kansas in the championship game tonight.
