For the first time in history a man from Taylorville will be a US Congressman. Rodney Davis, a Republican from Taylorville has been elected to the United States Congress in the new 13th District.
Davis was introduced at the Election Night Celebration at Krieger’s in Taylorville by Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp.

Davis thanked his late mother during his acceptance speech for all she did for him.
